What We Believe

We believe that the Bible is God's revealed Word to His people, written by men who were divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is completely true, with no error, and is God's complete and final revelation to mankind.

We believe that there is one and only one, living and true God. He is the Creator and Supreme Ruler of heaven and earth. In the unity of the Godhead there are three persons; The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, equal in every aspect.

We believe that we are saved entirely by God's grace. We are not and cannot be, saved by our own good works. It was the death of Jesus on the cross that made possible our redemption. His death made full atonement for our sin. When we accept this great, free gift of God, by faith, we can then enter into that personal relationship with Him.

We believe the church is a congregation of baptized believers, brought together by their like-minded faith, observing the ordinances of Christ and exercising the gifts God has given them.

We believe that true Christian baptism is the immersion of the believer in water, in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit that symbolize outwardly, the change in that person's life that has already taken place internally. Baptism is a prerequisite for church membership.

We believe the Lord's Supper is a special remembrance of the sacrifice Jesus made for us. Participation is open to any Christian.

We believe that those who choose not to receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior will face a day of judgment by God Himself and will be condemned to spend eternity in hell with Satan.
